We are very proud of our homestay program in Costa Rica. Living with a local family is a unique experience that will provide you with the opportunity to not only learn the language but also explore the culture of Costa Rica. Our homestays in Turrialba have been carefully selected. The host families love to share their culture with you by for example taking you to family parties. The rooms in the homestay are private and have shared bathrooms. Our homestays in Costa Rica include breakfast, dinner and laundry. Food is typical Costa Rican food, nevertheless most host families can adapt a little upon request (e.g. considering people’s diets). If you don’t use our pick-up service from the Airport of San José to your homestay in Costa Rica, you need to call the school to let us know at what time you will arrive in Turrialba so your host family can welcome you at the bus station.

To directly get to your accommodations of choice from San José Airport, use our 24 hour pick-up service – A taxi driver from the school, carrying a sign with your name, will drive you to your homestay in Costa Rica. The trip takes about 90 minutes.
